Our Great Weekend

We had a awesome weekend, busy but so much fun. We camped out at Rustic Woods the weekend with somew friends of ours Pat and Deb. Friday night we went for a fish fry, then after that when Pat and Deb got there sand set up their tent we walked around the campground. It was such a nice night and everything all lite up so cool. We ended up down by Bob and Vicki's. ( My sons future in laws). They are such great people, we always hsave so much fun with them. I can't wait for the wedding next year. We stayed at their campsite til just after midnight. Sat we had a cookout and some of the kids and grand kids came over for that. Then we all walked up to the car show to wait for the Rod and Custom Car show Cruise come in. This year they had carnival games and things to do. Kevin from the campground's dad is a carnie and brought some stuff including this tall wall that people could try climbing. Well first it was Carie and Andrea that climbed the wall. They had one side easy and the other side was hard. If you could climb the hard side to the top and ring the bell in 3 minutes you'd win $100. Then it was Mitch and Mark's turn. No one made the $100 side but it was funnier than hell wating them. Carie made it to the top of the easy side. Afterthat we went back to hang out at our campsite and relaxed by the fire. The grandkids were having a ball playing together. Its so nice seeing them play so nice together and giggling. Hope they are always close to all their cousins. After the kids and grandkids left Mike and Kim and Alvin and I went up to the big tent for the band. They were a really good band. I had so much fun I stayed til closing. Kevin had a few beeers and was just a social butterfly. He was just smiling ear to ear and was so funny. It hit him though after a while as you can see from the pictures below. Then Sunday It was Deb's turn to make breakfast since I had Sat morning. That was so nice to be able to just sit by the fire and have someone else cook for me...Thanks Deb. Then for lunch I cooked out and Mitch and Carie and kids came out. After they had left some friends came over to visit. Rick and Mary who gave us the camper were also camping that weekend. After they left we started to slowly pack up. Then Jeff , Katy and Jena came over and the Jamies. We hung out there for a while and then we all decided to go over to Jeff and Katy and order pizza in and sit by their fire. The Jamies and Kevin also came too. It was a wonderful way to end a terrific weekend. I only wish that Matt , Ash and Ally were there too. We just left the camper there and moved it Monday to our spot Labor Day weekend.
