Saturday April 19th, 2008

Well Saturday morning was one of the worst days of my life. I recieved a call from mark and Andrea. The sheriffs dept called there looking for Mike. Which he was not there, they stated that they found his car upside down in an creek. My heart just sink to my feet. We ran out the door and ran to Mikes house to see if he was home. There ws no answer on his cell phone went right to voice mail. We knocked and knocked and yelled but no answer, so we were going to drive over to Joe's house since I knew he was with him that night. As we drove down Nichols Creek Rd. we came up to the scene. There were several firetrucks there and squd cars. They had just pulled Mikes car out. It was horrible seeing that car I just totally lost it when I saw the car. I talked to an officer and they were going to send someone to look at Joe's house in the meantime I went back to Mikes and had Kevin break into the house and unlock the door for us. Found Mike asleep in bed. The officer took Mike in for questioning. And then brought him back home. Mike said he fell asleep on the way home and woke up trapped in his car upside down. With water coming up inside. He said he screamed and screamed for help for what seemed forever. He was kicking at a window trying to get out. He still has no idea how he actually got out. and then he walked home , cold and wet, which was about 1 mile. The cops couldn't believe he walked away from it. I know it was God that saved his life and was watching over him. It was truely a miracle.
